Burke Williams Beyond the SpaThere is one word to describe Burke Williams day spa- amenities! I just love the amenities once I step foot inside BW.

Rewarding yourself with a massage or spa treatment inspires you to keep your workout routine strong and your diet clean. Staying healthy is a top priority, especially when planning a wedding, so finding the right reward system is important.

The Santa Monica location is perfect to just make a day of it. Check in, grab your locker key and slip into the soft robe. Snack on fresh fruit and drink both water and fresh mini smoothies. Build your own routine each time you go.
First hit the sauna with a cold washcloth and stay until you feel like you might pass out. Next rinse off and then sink into the quiet spa. If you’re bringing a friend along, go into the social spa and talk with the other spa ladies. After another quick rinse grab some hot tea with a honey stick and wait for your treatment in the quiet room. The quiet room is comprised of dim lighting, 6 cushy recliners with heavy blankets that you rest right on top of your chest. It is so relaxing.

My favorite massage at BW is their signature Burke Williams massage. The BW massage is full body and uses essential oils with heavy heating pads that make your muscles fully relax. Think of a foam roller all over every muscle you have been working so hard over the past month. I especially like the light herb scrub that leaves my skin smooth and fragrant.
After your treatment either go back into the quiet room for a cat nap or go into the makeup chair to get ready for the rest of your day.
